About Little Nojele
I’m Lina – a mother of three daughters and a son, or a girl who had spent all childhood summers with her grandparents in an old village, among meadows and forests. For as long as I can remember, I have always been creating something: drying plants and then arranging them into pictures, making paper appliques, sewing, crocheting and embroidering with my grandmother. Time had passed, and my creativity was overshadowed by studies and work, but after the birth of my first daughter, needlework has gradually found its way back into my life. I immersed myself in it, relaxed, and found joy in giving the finished pieces to my loved ones. After having two more daughters, I often wanted to dress them up with beautiful, matching dresses, so I started sewing for them. Inspired by nature and memories of my grandmother's woven linen bedspreads and towels, I chose to sew with linen. As my children grew up, I started looking deeper and deeper into my soul, my fifth child was born - Little Nojele. Nojele is a combination of the names of my greatest inspirations, my daughters, and she is also the same barefoot girl with windswept hair that I once was.
I am so happy to have you here on this journey with me and thank you for reading my story.
